Science Fiction: Voyage to the Edge of Imagination was one of the Science Museum's most ambitious exhibitions, transforming the gallery into an immersive journey through space, time and imagination. Featuring over 70 iconic objects, the exhibition combined theatrical scenery, interactive technology and multimedia storytelling.
MJS Group was appointed to deliver the specialist exhibition fit-out, including partition walls, scenic setworks, display plinths, large-format graphics and projection surfaces. Alongside our own works, we coordinated multiple specialist packages such as decorating, scenic finishes, showcase installation, AV integration and model makers, ensuring every element was delivered to programme and the highest quality standards. Working within a busy, live museum demanded meticulous planning, phased installation and close collaboration with the wider project team. Following completion, MJS continued to support the Science Museum by providing consultancy services ahead of the exhibition's onward tour, reinforcing our commitment to long-term client relationships and ensuring the exhibition could be successfully adapted for its next destination without compromising the original design intent.
