Located on the shores of Lake Windermere, the Waterhead Inn underwent an extensive refurbishment to create contemporary hospitality spaces while retaining the warmth and character expected of this popular Lake District destination. MJS Group was appointed to deliver the internal fit-out, combining bespoke craftsmanship with practical construction expertise throughout the programme.
Our scope included bespoke joinery, feature bar installations, decorative wall panelling, fitted furniture, timber flooring, MF ceilings, washroom fit-out and high-quality decorative finishes across the public areas. Extensive coordination with mechanical and electrical services, kitchen specialists and other trades ensured each phase progressed efficiently while maintaining operational requirements. Careful attention to detailing, material selection and build quality helped create interiors that are both durable and welcoming. The completed refurbishment reflects MJS's ability to deliver high-quality hospitality environments where craftsmanship, functionality and programme management are equally important.
